just back from this years’ OFFF festival, i’m amazed how many people attended the shows.
funny thing that even if all of the presenters work in the field of digital media some of the presentations were far behind of what one would expect. nonetheless, there were a couple of shows that really stood out, gave great insights and inspiration. plus: lisbon was the right choice to host the conference. the city is the perfect mixture of historic sceneries, young & creative subculture and very friendly and easy going people. as for me: i’m looking forward to offf 09! 05/08

“jardin” is one of the experimental shorts created by emmar this year.
it’s based on a 3d jungle distorted and reshaped with various flat rasters, grids and patterns

to create this corporate film and visualize the voice of arvato services a company of the
bertelsmann group. 11/07

jt international is the world’s third largest international tobacco company.
emmar was asked to design and produce a visual brand world for jti that showcases their enlarged brand portfolio.
the challenge was to use various already existing brand materials and create one visual world around eight
completely different brands. the quicktime shows excerpts of the 6 min. movie. 08/07

emmar was commissioned by production house embassy of dreams and director frieder wittich
to produce this intro trailer for mini’s “h.o.m.p.” (home order mini products) commercials and the website. 08/07

mik worked on the virtual environment for this eyecandy commercial at post production house das werk berlin. 05/07

once again mik joined optix digital’s creative department to work on osram’s new product commercial. 05/07

we started to stich on canvas almost 2 years ago. we wanted to use this technique because we consider this handcraft
as the perfect description of the german stereotype. we decided to stich this series of tools because we wanted to
relate the image and/with the technique. 03/07

this is an excerpt of emmars stencil art. once in a while, when we feel it’s time for a new one, we cut out another
stencil and spray-can-compose it on canvas. i guess pretty soon we’re ready for an exhibition… 03/07

emmar designed and animated this show package layout for the adidas emm news, a corporate media platform that was meant to provide news from the excecutive management board. we were commissioned by film production house koestersbuero for this project. 02/07

koestersbuero asked emmar to create a visual concept for an opening sequence for adidas’ retail department to lead in their presentation at this years adidas global marketing meeting in herzogenaurach. emmar invented this glossy stone that stands for the brand, works as a pictureframe, represents abstract data and builds astonishing spaces. 04/06

creation club hamburg commissioned emmar to pitch for the redesign of the sports section of germany’s no. 1 pay tv channel premiere. emmar invited berlin based 3d guru nico schwenke and swiss top-notch typographer roger furrer to visualize its concept for this client. 11/05

san francisco based production house teak motion visuals commissioned emmar to design and produce a 5 minute virtual tour for pg&e. pacific gas and electric company serves approximately 15 million people in northern and central california. the movie was designed for customer education to promote their flexible payment options. 10/05

commissioned by production house teak motion visuals emmar created this colourful mix of rotating boxes and typography. emmar’s concept and design won the pitch for mervyn’s spring tv campaign. 01/06

berlin based design company metaphrenie commissioned emmar to design a visual concept for a series of on air promotion spots for ard’s digital channel “festival” to promote the olympic winter games 2006 in torino. 01/06

mutabor, the hamburg based design agency, asked emmar to animate part of their info film sequences presented at the detroit motor show 2006 . 11/05

commissioned by guido wolff, emmar designed a tv commercial for ehapa’s micky mouse magazine. “tooor” is a new comic magazine that dedicates its content to soccer. 12/05
